Quick Info

From our control panel you can manage a wide range of settings & features that effect your server, from start-up settings, config editing, uploading / managing files, updates, automated tasks & much more

Different Game Servers will have different options, some games may have allot more settings & some others may have less - e.g. Minecraft servers wont have the Steam Updater

See this page for info on how to create sub users that can also manage your server(s) - Creating & Managing Sub Users

Server Management

Config File Editor

Click on this icon in your control panel to open the config file editor

Most Game Servers will normally have a common set of config files that store the server information, like its name, welcome message, map lists & cycle etc...

From our control panel you can edit these files in an online text editor, some files/games may also have a config generator what you can use to fill in the information & our control panel system will generate a config from those settings (only applies to some games)

Command line Manager / Start-up settings

Click on this icon in your control panel to open the Command line Editor

Most servers will have the option to edit your start-up settings.

In here you can edit the various settings what are used when starting up your server e.g. Start-up Map, game mode, you can also have custom start-up lines but you will only be allowed to add in options that don't cause a security concern or allow you to edit your servers size / slots (See image below for an example)

In this example of CS:GO you can select the main game modes so your server can play that Game Mode.

If you need a custom command line set please contact support & they will determine if it is acceptable to be used.

Server Info / Status

On nearly all of our servers you can view your current Server Stats by clicking on the "Current activity & stats" icon.

On here you can view who is connected to your server, how busy it is, their current score.

There is also a Graphs/History view where you can get reports on how your server has been doing over a selected time range (As seen below in the example)

File Manager

Click on this icon in your control panel to open the File Manager

This is one of the most used features of our control panel system, the online file manager.

It can be used to edit, rename, create new, delete, upload, download & compress files (Much like you can do using FTP but a web version)

The file uploader is limited to uploading 3 files at a time, so using FTP is very much recommended for use when uploading large amounts of files.

See image below for explanation

Green Area - File Manager Control buttons
Red Area - Folder Navigation area / Folder Tree
Yellow Area - File / Folder view while in the current folder

The mini icons in the "Actions" column will explain what they are for when you hover over them e.g.

  • Pencil icon - This is the file edit button, this will open the file to be edited only supports basic file types like .cfg & .txt
  • Blue bar icon - This is the "Rename" file, press this to rename a file or folder.
  • Blue World icon - This is the "Download" button, use this to download zip folders, or single files for local editing / viewing.
  • Star icon - This is a very useful one, upon pressing it will turn Gold, this mean that the file will now appear in the Config editor section (As explain above) saving you time on finding it in the file manager to edit, Press it again to turn it off (Grey Colour)
